TranslationThe Noble Lineage

He is the Beloved, the Chosen, the Accepted Intercessor — our master Muhammad (s.a.w.s.), son of Abdullah, son of Abdul-Muttalib, son of Hashim, son of Abd Manaf, son of Qusayy, son of Kilab, son of Murra, son of Ka'b, son of Lu'ayy, son of Ghalib, son of Fihir — of the noble Qurayshi Hashimite lineage (s.a.w.s.).»

His mother was Lady Aminah bint Wahb, from the Zuhri clan of Quraysh. The noble lineage on his father's side connects to our master Ishmael, son of Ibrahim the Friend of Allah, peace be upon them both — making him a descendant of the noble Prophets.»

O Allah, send prayers, peace, and blessings upon this noble Prophet, whom You chose from the most honorable of origins and the purest of lineages, and selected to carry Your final message to mankind and jinn — and upon his family and all his companions.»

النَّسَبُ الشَّرِيفُProse

هُوَ الْحَبِيبُ الْمُصْطَفَى، الشَّفِيعُ الْمُرْتَضَى، سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ابْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، ابْنِ هَاشِمٍ، ابْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، ابْنِ قُصَيٍّ، ابْنِ كِلَابٍ، ابْنِ مُرَّةَ، ابْنِ كَعْبٍ، ابْنِ لُؤَيٍّ، ابْنِ غَالِبٍ، ابْنِ فِهْرٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ الْهَاشِمِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ۞»

وَأُمُّهُ السَّيِّدَةُ آمِنَةُ بِنْتُ وَهْبٍ مِنْ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ۞ وَالنَّسَبُ الشَّرِيفُ مِنْ جِهَةِ أَبِيهِ يَتَّصِلُ بِسَيِّدِنَا إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَلِيلِ عَلَيْهِمَا الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ، فَهُوَ مِنْ سُلَالَةِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ الْكِرَامِ ۞»

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى هَذَا النَّبِيِّ الْكَرِيمِ، الَّذِي اخْتَرْتَهُ مِنْ أَشْرَفِ الْأُصُولِ وَأَطْهَرِ الْفُصُولِ، وَانْتَقَيْتَهُ لِحَمْلِ رِسَالَتِكَ الْخَاتِمَةِ إِلَى الثَّقَلَيْنِ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ ۞»
