إِرْهَاصَاتُ الْوِلَادَةِ

TranslationSigns Before the Birth

Lady Aminah, may Allah be pleased with her, used to see in her dreams a light emerging from her that illuminated the palaces of Syria. She would hear a voice saying to her: 'You carry within you the master of this nation and the best of the people of this world — name him Muhammad.'»

In the year of the Prophet's birth (s.a.w.s.) — the Year of the Elephant — Allah sent the birds of Ababeel against the armies of Abraha, who had sought to demolish the Ka'bah. Allah repelled them in disgrace, honoring the Sacred House and the one in the womb who would soon illuminate the world.»

Soothsayers, Jewish scholars, and Christian monks had foretold his coming (s.a.w.s.) before his birth. And Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, gave glad tidings of him, saying: 'And giving good tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.' (As-Saff 61:6)»

إِرْهَاصَاتُ الْوِلَادَةِProse

كَانَتِ السَّيِّدَةُ آمِنَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا نُورًا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا يُضِيءُ قُصُورَ الشَّامِ، وَكَانَتْ تَسْمَعُ هَاتِفًا يَقُولُ لَهَا: تَحْمِلِينَ سَيِّدَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا فَأَسْمِيهِ مُحَمَّدًا ۞»

وَفِي السَّنَةِ الَّتِي وُلِدَ فِيهَا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ — وَهِيَ عَامُ الْفِيلِ — أَرْسَلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى طَيْرَ الْأَبَابِيلِ عَلَى جُيُوشِ أَبْرَهَةَ الَّذِي أَرَادَ هَدْمَ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَرَدَّهُمُ اللهُ خَائِبِينَ، تَكْرِيمًا لِلْبَيْتِ وَلِسَاكِنِ الرَّحِمِ الَّذِي سَيُنِيرُ الدُّنْيَا ۞»

وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَ الْكُهَّانُ وَالْأَحْبَارُ وَالرُّهْبَانُ بِقُدُومِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ مَوْلِدِهِ، وَأَبْشَرَ بِهِ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ: ﴿وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ﴾ ۞»
