Our master Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) was born in the Noble City of Makkah, on the morning of Monday, the twelfth night of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal in the Year of the Elephant, corresponding to the year 570 CE.»

When he was born (s.a.w.s.), a brilliant light filled the house. The earth trembled with joy. The pillars of Khosrow's palace shook, and the fires of Persia — which had not been extinguished for a thousand years — were quenched.»

When he was born (s.a.w.s.), he raised his noble head toward the sky, and he was born circumcised with his umbilical cord already cut. It is said that when he was born he prostrated to Allah in gratitude, then raised his finger pointing to the sky, and faced the Qiblah in glorification of his Lord.»

O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon our master Ibrahim and upon the family of our master Ibrahim. And bless our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad, as You blessed our master Ibrahim among the worlds. Indeed, You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.»
