TranslationThe Call to Prophethood

When he reached forty years of age (s.a.w.s.), Allah sent down revelation through Jibril, peace be upon him, in the Cave of Hira on the Mountain of Light. The first words revealed were: 'Read in the name of your Lord who created.' (Al-Alaq 96:1)»

He called people to monotheism and the worship of Allah alone (s.a.w.s.), forbidding them from polytheism and injustice. Those whom Allah willed for happiness believed in him. He endured the harm of the polytheists with beautiful patience (s.a.w.s.).»

O Allah, make us among those who follow his Sunnah (s.a.w.s.), who act according to his noble law, who love him in private and in public, and who remain firm upon his religion until the day of meeting Allah. Ameen.»

الْبَعْثَةُ وَالنُّبُوَّةُProse

لَمَّا بَلَغَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً، أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيَ بِوَاسِطَةِ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فِي غَارِ حِرَاءٍ بِجَبَلِ النُّورِ، وَكَانَ أَوَّلُ مَا نَزَلَ: ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ﴾ ۞»

وَكَانَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو النَّاسَ إِلَى التَّوْحِيدِ وَعِبَادَةِ اللهِ وَحْدَهُ، وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ وَالظُّلْمِ، فَآمَنَ بِهِ مَنْ أَرَادَ اللهُ لَهُمُ السَّعَادَةَ، وَصَبَرَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَذَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا ۞»

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُتَّبِعِينَ لِسُنَّتِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، الْعَامِلِينَ بِشَرِيعَتِهِ الْغَرَّاءِ، الْمُحِبِّينَ لَهُ فِي أَسِرَّتِنَا وَعَلَانِيَتِنَا، الثَّابِتِينَ عَلَى دِينِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ لِقَاءِ اللهِ، آمِينَ ۞»
