When the harm of the polytheists against the Muslims intensified, Allah permitted His Prophet (s.a.w.s.) to migrate to the Illuminated City of Madinah. He departed with his companion the Truthful, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, migrating from the place most beloved to him in sacrifice for the religion of Allah.»
The people of Madinah welcomed the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) with joy and happiness. Women and children came out singing: 'The full moon has risen upon us from the passes of Wada — Gratitude is due from us as long as anyone calls to Allah.'»
After ten years from the Migration, he returned to Makkah victorious and triumphant (s.a.w.s.). He forgave those who had harmed him and said: 'Go, for you are the freed ones.' This was the greatest act of pardon ever known in history.»
