Tanween — التنوين

Tanween is a double vowel added to the end of indefinite words, producing an 'an', 'in', or 'un' sound.

Tanween only appears at the end of a word and never at the beginning. The Noon of tanween follows the same four rules as Noon Sakin.

Double fatha — produces an 'an' sound. Found at the end of indefinite nouns in the accusative case.

Double kasra — produces an 'in' sound. Found at the end of indefinite nouns in the genitive case.
