Noon Sakin Rules — أحكام النون الساكنة
These four rules apply whenever Noon has Sukoon (نْ) or Tanween (ً ٍ ٌ) follows a letter.

Izhaar (إظهار) — Clear Pronunciation
When Noon Sakin (نْ) or Tanween is followed by one of the 6 throat letters, pronounce Noon clearly with no merging and no nasal sound.
Trigger letters: Hamza, Haa, Ain, Ha, Ghain, Kha

When Noon Sakin or Tanween is followed by ي ن م و, merge the Noon into the following letter WITH a nasal (ghunna) sound lasting 2 counts.

When Noon Sakin or Tanween is followed by ر ل, merge the Noon completely WITHOUT any nasal sound.

When Noon Sakin or Tanween is followed by ب, convert (change) the Noon into a Meem sound and pronounce with ghunna for 2 counts.
